Current research status

Analytic study with a prospective test protocol

The question in focus

Analyzes apparent weight in rotating frames, separating instantaneous cancellation, cycle averages, spin-up energy and the sustained power needed to overcome losses.

Scope & open questions

  • Reports no experimental data.
  • Rotation alone does not give sustained time-averaged weightlessness to a fixed payload or reduce a sealed device's mean support load.
  • The stated power ratio compares different functions and does not demonstrate more efficient hovering.
